Base Creative is looking for a:

Project Manager
with Web Development experience.

You will be creative, highly organised and a natural team leader. You will be a problem solver, and you will have a passion for online, digital and web related work.

The role will give you huge responsibility, as well as recognition, and the opportunity to help continue the growth of a young, creative and highly reputable web design agency.

• Manage the entire production of the web design and web development team. This means manage the process and resources of each project from start to launch. Projects include:
  • Design and layout of websites
  • Build and front-end development of websites
  • Integration of our in-house Content Management System
  • Custom web development, in PHP and MySQL (done in-house)
  • Branding and Logo Development
  • SEO Updates
  • General Web Maintenance and ad-hoc web-related tasks
• Running all project-related meetings (Internal and External)
• Handle client and project related queries
• Manage project-related finances
• Use of our internal team, client and project management system (software)
• Set up project schedules, meetings and meet strict project deadlines/milestones
• Participate in Management Meetings to report to other Management team members on the progress of projects, team members and issues
• Run the weekly team meeting, to update the team on progress and set weekly tasks and deadlines
• Closely manage and participate in Web Development tasks (you will be required to use your PHP and your web development experience to contribute to production)
• Closely manage the evolution and updating of our in-house developed Content Management System
• Manage the web hosting servers on which our clients’ websites reside
• Liaising with external suppliers for all project deliverables. These include copywriters, photographers and other freelance suppliers.

• Have OO-PHP knowledge (preferred studied and qualified at degree level) and/or Web Development (PHP/MySQL) experience
• Are a natural team leader, personable, friendly and bring the best out of people in a working environment
• Have excellent client-facing, communication and presentation skills/experience
• Are highly organised
• Have excellent time management skills

• Are flexible on your working hours, to accommodate deadlines and other team-member availability
• Have experience using SubVersion
