We lived
Over the weekend, Team Base Creative (and Team Ed Marno) competed in the SPW Mini Triathlon...and lived to tell the tale. This is the tale.
Although we do web design, we still do sport. Being based in Islington means Hyde Park is just around the corner. Unfortunately, no practice laps were allowed, so proximity in this case didn't mean we could pop down after work in preparation.
Iain started with the 400 metre swim - 11 minutes, which included a 150m run/jog/hobble. Richard continues on the bike and completed a fair distance before realising he had a flat tyre. The walk back meant lots of time had passed. David completed the final 5K run without any mishaps and the team came in at around 1:02:00 (give or take a puncture).
So, what's next? Virgin London Marathon?
