Top 6 Tips on Video Blogging
Since launching the last video blog on our website, I've been asked many times about where inspiration could come from, what to vlog about and how to fill 3 or 4 minutes. Here's the answer:
I feel that this episode is working much better since our last one. We've dropped the sound and made it much more about the content.
The main points are:
- Getting ideas for what to blog about: search on Google for your industry and then "vlog" to find vlogs by people already talking about what you do.
- Vlogs should focus on your personal opinion to show passion and enthusiam
- Engagement within vlogs is highest at the beginning and at the end
- End a vlog with a question, to keep the dialogue between website/vlog viewer and yourself flowing
- If you want to know what your clients or potential clients are interested in...ask them
- When you start vlogging, keep at it: Weekly, fantastic. Monthly, that's fine too.
