I'm sure that many of you read that title, and thought "Of course the details are important. Everyone knows that". And you'd be correct, as the details are important - it's just a question of which details.

The days of only being able to access the internet on a computer have long since passed - using a iPhone or an Android based smartphone to get online whilst on the move has become commonplace. Surely this means that you need to supplement your existing website with a dedicated mobile version, or, even better, with an app? In short, the answer is no. Of course, it's actually a little more complicated than that - but the answer will still usually be no.

In my last article, I explained that a website is never going to be successful without promotion. Not only that, simply posting a few tweets on Twitter wouldn't really accomplish anything - a strategy encompassing multiple media avenues was required. Surely, that will be enough?

It is likely that upon the launch of a brand new website, one concludes that the process is now finished and no extra work needs to be done. Nothing could be further from the truth.
